Mighty Minds

Support your child’s mind and body through movement designed just for them.

This one-on-one personal training program is thoughtfully created for kids who experience ADHD, emotional regulation challenges, or simply need an outlet to move, grow, and thrive. Through structured physical activity and personalized coaching, kids build strength, focus, emotional awareness—and most importantly, a growth mindset that empowers them to keep trying, learning, and believing in themselves.

Every session is a chance to grow stronger, inside and out.

Your child will be working directly with me—a certified personal trainer, elementary school teacher, and Special Education Specialist with a degree in Psychology. I bring over 20 years of experience working with children of all abilities. My sessions are rooted in care, patience, and a deep understanding of how movement, mindset, and emotional development go hand in hand.

How does physical activity help with ADHD, emotional regulation, and growth mindset?

Movement does more than just burn energy—it actually changes the brain in powerful ways. Physical activity increases dopamine, norepinephrine, and serotonin levels in the brain—all of which play a key role in attention, mood regulation, and executive functioning. These are areas where kids with ADHD often struggle.

In addition, movement-based challenges help build a growth mindset—kids learn to embrace effort, bounce back from frustration, and feel proud of their progress. It's not just about getting stronger—it's about helping your child feel more capable, calm, and confident from the inside out.

What can I expect during a session?

Each session is tailored to your child’s needs, combining structured physical exercises with strategies that support emotional growth and self-regulation. Sessions may include strength and agility work, fun movement games, and mindset coaching. The atmosphere is supportive, encouraging, and flexible—designed to meet your child where they are and help them move forward with confidence.

What Types of Physical Activities Will My Child Be Doing?

For ADHD & Focus:

  • Agility drills: Improve coordination, attention, and reaction time while keeping kids engaged.

  • Short-burst cardio: Boost dopamine and norepinephrine, which support focus and attention.

  • Functional movement patterns: Build neural pathways that strengthen body awareness and brain-body connection.

  • Reaction time training: Strengthens cognitive flexibility, focus under pressure, and the ability to process and respond quickly.

For Emotional Regulation:

  •  Movement pauses – Help kids learn to calm their bodies and minds when overstimulated.

  • Balance and core exercises  – Activate the parasympathetic nervous system and increase body awareness.

  • Mindful movement – Slow, intentional motions paired with breath to teach self-regulation and emotional control.

For Growth Mindset:

  • Progressive challenges – Activities are scaled to allow small wins, setbacks, and comebacks—teaching perseverance.

  • Strength-building exercises (push-ups, squats, resistance work) – Show kids they are capable of getting stronger through effort.

  • Goal-based games – Reinforce the idea that practice and patience lead to progress, not perfection.
